An Awkward Situation
He Xun explained to his wife. “There is a type of tree that grows in hot and damp places. This tree has a white sap. If you use a small knife to cut along its trunk, a white sap will flow out. That is the raw material for glue.”
Chen Wei’er hadn’t seen it before, so she couldn’t imagine it. “How white is it?”
He Xun was bewildered. How could he skillfully relay the key points to his wife? Nevertheless, he still patiently answered Chen Wei’er.
“It resembles milk a bit, but it is a little thicker than milk.”
While Chen Wei’er was sighing about the wonders of nature, a dangerous idea formed in her mind. Since there were only the two of them now, she turned off the camera and asked directly, “Compared to your sperm, which one is whiter?”
He Xun instantly felt as if his head had been struck, and ‘disbelief’ was written all over his face.
With saucer eyes, Chen Wei’er blinked as she waited for He Xun’s answer.
He Xun gritted his teeth and grabbed his wife’s collar.
Chen Wei’er bit her lower lip. What would this man say? Why was he a little excited?
He Xun’s lips moved up and down. “I don’t mind letting you compare them with your own eyes. Which is whiter?” He Xun’s lips continued to trail.
Chen Wei’er immediately tried to please her husband and laughed it off.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea…”
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with what you said.” He Xun’s temples were throbbing. He had never expected Chen Wei’er to say such words. He had to admit that this sentence made him react instantly. Most of the time, ambiguous words were more lethal to men than pictures, and they were more vulnerable.
“I’m just curious. I haven’t done anything, so you don’t have to take it to heart.” Chen Wei’er quietly took two steps back.
What if this bastard really did it here… She wouldn’t dare to look at anyone’s eyes ever again!
At this moment, the two of them, who thought the place was uninhabited, heard a sound from behind. Someone’s painful cry could be heard thereafter.
Chen Wei’er’s eyes suddenly widened, and He Xun was also a little surprised. They slowly turned around and saw a boy hugging his knees and rolling on the ground.
Chen Wei’er and He Xun looked at each other…
No way! Did he hear what they just said? This was too risky…
Chen Wei’er felt that as a girl, she should be ashamed, so she immediately buried her head in He Xun’s arms. If she had known earlier, she wouldn’t have asked even if she was dying of curiosity! She thought that everything would be fine if she turned off the camera. Life was really full of surprises!
He Xun was speechless. He really wanted to ask Chen Wei’er, “Was there any use in hiding now?”
“I-I am just passing by. Y-y-you guys can continue…” The boy, who looked to be about 17 or 18 years old, struggled to stand up from the ground. He had originally wanted to find a quiet place to read. He didn’t expect to hear two unfamiliar voices the moment he sat down. Just as he was about to change locations, he heard the part where He Xun discussed rubber with Chen Wei’er.
Because the mountain was located in the north and was dry all year round, he had never seen a tree that could produce rubber. He just wanted to listen more and gain some knowledge.
Who would have thought that the next sentence…
The boy panicked in an instant. He felt that he shouldn’t continue listening. He had a feeling that if he didn’t leave, the following scene would be difficult to prevent.
In the end, the boy was flustered and anxious. He lost his footing and rolled down. There was also a tattered book that rolled down with him.
And this book just happened to roll to the feet of Chen Wei’er and He Xun.
He Xun had not expected to experience such an embarrassing incident in his lifetime. He awkwardly cleared his throat. “We’re done with our discussion. Is this yours?” He then picked up the book.
“Yes.” The boy also scratched his head in embarrassment. He saw that Chen Wei’er was still hiding her head and thought that she must be embarrassed. He took the book and was about to leave. However, just as he took a step, his knee hurt, and he fell again.
Hearing the other party’s shout, Chen Wei’er deduced that the boy must have been injured. So, she stretched her head out of He Xun’s arms and saw a tanned, strong boy curled up into a ball as he held his leg and rolled on the ground.
“What is wrong with you?”
When He Xun saw Chen Wei’er coming out, he took two steps forward and found that the boy’s knee was already red and swollen. “Your bones are dislocated. Don’t move!” He Xun said decisively.
“It hurts…” The boy clenched his teeth tightly. He tried his best not to let his tears fall.
