Chapter 830: Your Son is Adorable

‘Is she sleeping?’

He turned around and walked into the spacious bedroom, only to find that Yan Jinyi was still nowhere in sight.

With a frown on his face, Huo Xishen fished out his cell phone to call Yan Jinyi.

The phone rang for a long time before it was answered, and after a few seconds, Yan Jinyi questioned with a slightly nasally voice, “Who is that? You’re disturbing my sleep in the middle of the night.”

“Darling, are you not at home?”

Yan Jinyi first rubbed her sleepy eyes and once she heard Huo Xishen’s voice, she was a lot less sleepy. “Mr. Huo, are you home?”

“Yes.”

“Oh, I’m out of town for filming, so you’ll have to be alone for the next few days.”

Huo Xishen could hear the gloating tone in her voice.

“Darling, when you come back, let’s take care of all the things that have been long due.”

‘Is there anything that’s due?’

Yan Jinyi thought about it for a long time but she still had no clue.

‘Forget it, sleep is important.’

Huo Zihang had not spoken to Yan Jinyi for almost half a month.

‘It’s Second Sister-in-law who lied to me first. Why am I the sinner now!?’

When Huo Qingyuan came home, she discovered that Huo Zihang was sitting alone at the bar and sipping on some wine, looking as if he was out of love.

“Third Brother, I just went shopping with Nana in the mall across the pedestrian street and I ran into Sister Sangsang.”

Huo Zihang looked at her scornfully and said, “What has that got to do with me?”

“Ahhh, she has such a cute little kid but unfortunately, he’s not my nephew. Well, that makes sense. How can you have such a well-behaved, cute and innocent son?”

While speaking, she shook her head. Seeing that Huo Zihang was about to lose his temper, Huo Zihang fled and scurried upstairs.

‘This dog always likes to bully me. Now it’s payback time!’

Huo Zihang though, ‘Why should I sulk here while that woman can take her son to go shopping?’

The more she thought about it, the more unconvinced she was. He put the wine glass on the table because he decided to go shopping too.

The newspaper house had been very busy lately and Tan Sangsang hadn’t had the opportunity to take Mu Mu out to buy some new clothes. Her team at work happened to have applied for leave today so she decided to take half a day off too.

Tan Sangsang was holding onto Mu Mu’s hand and strolling around the second floor of the mall with a popsicle in hand.

Suddenly, Mu Mu’s eyes lit up and he exclaimed, “Mom look look look!”

“Look at what?”

Mu Mu pointed ahead and said, “That’s the strange man who appeared at school last time. I saw him again!”

She looked over in the direction that Mu Mu pointed to, only to see that it was indeed Huo Zihang!

Tan Sangsang’s expression changed slightly, and she pulled Mu Mu along as she turned around to walk away. “That’s not a strange man but a big bad guy. Mu Mu, if you see him again in the future, remember to walk away. Otherwise, if he catches you, you won’t get to see me again.”

Mu Mu was still a child after all so he was really shocked by Tan Sangsang’s words. He scurried towards her and hugged her thigh while nodding profusely. “I don’t want to be no longer able to see you. Ultraman is going to beat up the bad guy!”

“Should we go home now then?”

“Okay!”

The sharp-eyed Huo Zihang discovered Tan Sangsang who was rushing towards the elevator, at a glance.

He could obviously tell that this woman was avoiding him, but the more she did, the more he wanted to make his presence known to her.

With the advantage of his long legs, he quickly strode towards the two of them. “Miss Tan, are you out on a shopping trip with your son?”

Tan Sangsang subconsciously shielded Mu Mu and said, “What a coincidence. I didn’t expect you to be fond of shopping too, Mr. Huo.”

“It’s fate that we meet, so let’s talk about what you like. My treat!” Huo Zihang said unusually generously.

As soon as he said that, he turned to look at Mu Mu who was observing him from behind Tan Sangsang. “Your son is pretty cute.”

“Thanks for the compliment.”
